September for Filipinos is the wrapped up start of the countdown til' Xmas.
Will it be a fruitful christmas considering that the country suffers a crisis economic problem? let's find out what will happen! hehe "if there's a wheel.. just move on"
here's an excerpt of what is Christmas in the Philippines :)
There is no winter or snow in the Philippines at Christmas time. There is no traditional Yule log or fetching of the pine sprigs from the woods. An ordinary Christmas tree with some decorations such as lights and confetti will do :) And what is Christmas without Santa Claus? haha children will probbably wonder who really is Santa? haha ;p Filipinos like to decorate their homes not only with star lanterns but also with all sorts of Christmas decors. Candles and wreaths are also common set off. Most Filipinos think that decorating their homes for the Christmas holidays is a must because its the peak celebration for them :) that's it for now ;p

September 1 is the start of the Ramadan. Celebrated during the ninth month of Islamic calendar, the fast is observed each day from sunrise to sunset. Fasting during Ramadan is one of the five Pillars of Islam. The Islamic belief that requires that Muslims perform five central duties in order to strengthen their faith. While Islam has two major sects, the Sunnis and the Shiites, all Muslims aim to realize these five pillars in their lifetime.Ramadan concludes with a 3-day festival known as "Eid" or "Eid ul-Fitr," which literally means "the feast of the breaking/to break the fast." The holiday marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and is a culmination of the month-long struggle towards a higher spiritual state.
